When it comes to food, cooking and cleaning also become an issue. There’s a good chance you’ll be dealing spending a lot of time in your kitchen this Christmas. This is more than likely because you’re cooking a big lunch on Christmas day. It may also be because you’re entertaining friends and family. All of this makes avoiding pests especially difficult.

Make sure that your cupboards shut tightly and cannot be opened. Things like boxes of chocolates and sweets should also be placed on high shelves and cupboards where pests cannot get at them.

It’s also important to keep your kitchen as clean as possible. Implement a clean as you go system and get an annual pest inspection. Yes, this might be difficult during this time, but it will help to keep pests away.
